Eric Woodhouse, BSc, MSc, Co-founder & CEO

  • Holds a BSc from Manchester University in Physics and MSc in Operations Research from London University. He has spent the major part of his career working for RMC Group PLC a heavy construction materials company and its subsidiaries.
  • Responsible for all RMC Group PLC’s (now CEMEX) interests in California and Nevada from 1999 to 2005. RMC’s business includes sales over $500 million, 2,000 people, a cement plant at Davenport, and cement import facilities at the Ports of Redwood City, CA and Sacramento, CA.


John M. Chambers, Co-Founder & Senior VP

  • Has worked in Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal, Seattle, San Francisco and London, England. For the last 25 years John has worked within a partnership that successfully assembled a Construction Aggregates company that was sold to Hanson PLC (now owned by Heidelberg Cement Group). John is knowledgeable in the shipping business having worked in the family owned Terminal business for many years and using this experience to recognize construction material opportunities that benefit from the economies of scale available, based on shipping volumes.
  • John formed a partnership with Eric Woodhouse in 2006, focusing their efforts on developing a successful Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBFS) company in response to a need for this material in the West Coast of North America market.

Robert Lightle

A professional Power Engineer with over 20 years experience in pulp mills and associated facilities in west coast British Columbia. Entrepreneur currently running Lightle Management Services Ltd. Mr. Lightle has extensive knowledge of terminal structures and operations

Michael Beley

Mr. Beley is currently retired and remains on the Board of Directors of Energold Drilling Corp. He was a co-founder of Bema Gold Corporation, Eldorado Gold Corporation, Polaris Minerals Corporation and Adriana Resources Inc. Mr. Beley holds a B.Sc. from the University of BC, is a fellow of the Geological Association of Canada and is a past president of the British Columbia and Yukon Chamber of Mines.  He received, along with his partner Mr. Richard Barclay the Murray Pezim Award for “Perseverance and Success in Financing Mineral Exploration” from his peers in AME BC in 2014.

Management

James Theodores, BA, Exec. Bus Program; Management Consultant

James has spent most of his career in California. In the 1990s he worked with Kaiser Cement Gypsum Division before moving on to Senior Sales and Marketing in the Kaiser cement Division. In 1992 James became the VP of sales and operations. In 1997 James assumed the role of COO and Executive VP at Kaiser, now renamed Hanson Aggregates, and within one year was promoted to President of Hanson Aggregates Mid Pacific and Hanson Permanente Cement where he was responsible for all Aggregate, ready-mix, asphalt, cement production and manufacturing throughout Northern California and the Pacific Islands.

Thomas Glück, B. Sc. Eng., Ph.D., PMD (UCT); Strategic Development Consultant.

Dr Glück graduated with a B.Sc. and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa and has completed a Program in Management Development at the University of Cape Town. Thomas has 33 years of professional experience in South Africa and Canada. His work experience includes roles in research, development, engineering, marketing, financing as well as technology, project and operations management in several industries for Anglo American, Fluor, MMC-BHP Billiton and Baja Mining. This includes more than 20 years of operations and development experience with a vertical roller mill grinding plant similar to the type used for grinding slag.

David McAdam, B. Comm; Interim CFO.

Mr. McAdam has 30 years of business experience including varied positions from CFO/CEO of start-up TSX.V entities through to Finance Director of a Fortune 150 company based in Houston, Texas and currently provides CFO advisory services to a number of TSX.V companies and private companies with overseas assets.

Al Kauffman, B. Eng.; Concrete Expert. 

Fifty-year member and Fellow of American Concrete Institute. His career includes working as a concrete inspector for the Kansas DOT, Army Corps of Engineer, concrete dam project, project engineer on the Kemmerer Open pit coal mine, Shilstone’s Architectural Concrete Consultants, consultant to a Lightweight and Pozzolan producing company, Technical Services Manager for a major Ready Mix Concrete company. In 2002 he was placed on special assignment as the Project Manager for supply of concrete on the San Francisco Bay Bridge.
